Advantages Advantages Good sound quality, reasonable priced, long cord, fits different input sizes, reversable ear piece

Disadvantages Disadvantages Shows signs of wear, could do with bassier sound

These are mid to low range of over the ear DJ headphones made by reputable manufacturer Sony. On the whole, they are a reliable set. I have had them for 2 1/2 years now with largely daily use and only now am I beginning to encounter problems with them. The design is fairly straight forward and without too much gimmick or groundbreaking ergonomic thought. The headphone consists of a thin plastic arced strap that goes over the head about an inch in width for stability and a few millimeters thick. It is strong and reliable but also has enough give and flexibility as to not make it uncomfortable ... more

Advantages Advantages Solid design; stay in place for rigorous activities; comfort and sound - impeccable!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None.

Many people such as myself have a real problem with standard earphones which are designed to sit in the ear and are usually provided when you purchase mp3 or any personal stereo player. Supposedly such earphones are ideal for people who go jogging or working out in the gym. Sadly, for quite a few people, these earphones consistently fall out of their ears when doing any sort of rigorous activity causing the need to readjust. Hardly the easiest thing in the world to do when you're in the middle of lifting a barbell! Luckily I found the solution to my woes when I purchased these Sony MDR V150 ... more

Advantages Advantages Lightweight, Comfortable, Great Sound Quality, Value For Money Is Amazing.

Disadvantages Disadvantages None, Just Be Careful Of The Bass Response.

Okay, so i'll be honest, i purchased these headphones simply because they were cheap and they were from a well known brand. Now i have never had any sony headphones before so i can't comment on the brand as a whole, but wow, these headphones are on a new level. My previous headphones where beats by dre, which if you didn't know are around £150. After they broke, i went looking for some new headphones and saw these, i brought them because i was low on cash at the time, but honestly i can say i actually like these better. And the best bit? They only cost around £20 and you could probably get ... more

Advantages Advantages samll lightweight, cofortable in prolonged use, cheap price

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none really

Recently bought myself a pair of sony mdv150 head phones. I picked them up in tescos costing 12 pounds. In the past I have personaly owned about 25 pairs of head phones ranging from the very cheap to the quite expensive. These small light weight head phones are miles ahead of any of the other cheap head phones i Have tried and can even hold their own amongst the mid range ones i have used personaly. Now obviously these are not the worlds greatest headphones but for the price asked there is just no comparison in my honest opinion, they weight next to nothing are comfortable in prolonged use and ... more

Advantages Advantages Excellent Sound Quality, Very Tough, Cheap, Comfortable

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not Very Good at Keeping Outside Noise Out

When buying headphones it is pot luck when trying to get a good pair. These headphones for me were that lucky buy. Priced at £13.99 from my local supermarket I was not expecting miracles. However these by far are the best I have ever used. My first worry was that they would crush my ears due to the small cup size, however they sit nicely on my ears and you wouldn't even notice you were wearing them. The sound quality is superb, the highs are crisp and the bass is powerful, but not uncomfortably so, all music played through them sounded excellent. They will happily sit on my head for hours even ... more
