Sony MDR V500DJ

Advantages: Comfy to wear and look good.
Disadvantages: Sound quality

I paid £50 for a pair of these around two years ago. The plan was to use them for the PC/Hi-FI etc... on late nights and so on. Nice soft ear pads and an easily ajustable headband make for comfortable use. Playing any source through them at low volume sounds quite dull and un-involving, but its bearable at least. This doesnt matter though because all headphones sound better when you crank them up dont they? Not the case for these so-called 'DJ' headphones. They are terrible on a medium to high volume with fast baselines. The bass is all distorted and just flaps around in the background. Its sounds like the noise you hear when you blow out while being under water. The treble is splashy and ear peircing like scraping a fork accross a plate. Combine those two sounds together and 5 minutes later you will throw them in a dark corner ...

Review of Sony MDR V500DJ

Sony Mr-v150 headphones review.

Advantages: samll lightweight, cofortable in prolonged use, cheap price
Disadvantages: none really

Recently bought myself a pair of sony mdv150 head phones. I picked them up in tescos costing 12 pounds. In the past I have personaly owned about 25 pairs of head phones ranging from the very cheap to the quite expensive. These small light weight head phones are miles ahead of any of the other cheap head phones i Have tried and can even hold their own amongst the mid range ones i have used personaly. Now obviously these are not the worlds greatest headphones but for the price asked there is just no comparison in my honest opinion, they weight next to nothing are comfortable in prolonged use and are so versatile they are big enough to use for bedroom deejaying and small enough to wear while walking the streets without looking like a muppet. Sound quality is great and the cable is long enough to give you movement but not so long that you ...

Review of Sony MDR V150

Sony dynamic stereo headphones MDR V300

Advantages: Comfy and provides great sunds quality
Disadvantages: Cable is too long

These were bought for me as a birthday present as everyone knows i love my music. She bought them for £19.99 which is excellent value for money. On first impressions, I thought they looked very stylish and cool. They dont look tacky and have 'sony' in small writing on each earphone in silver . I use these with my ipod when I want more 'surround' sound or more depth. My music sounds much better with these headphones as it delivers music very clearly and also nearly blocks out the noise around me. I dont like to use the ipod ones as because they are white people are more likely to know it is an ipod and therefore try to steal it. Also the earphones wont stay in my ears properly. The headphones are well cushioned and are very comfortable to use and doesnt make my ears sore (unlike others do). The headphones are also flexible to ...
