Sony MDS-JE330 - For pro use? |

For starters, when you are buying Sony, you can be pretty certain you are buying quality equipment.
Having owned and run my own successful recording studio for a few years now, I feel I am in a pretty reasonable position to comment on sound quality. The sound quality on this particular unit is particularly good. As with all other Sony equipment I have ever owned, it has functioned reliably and as expected in day-to-day use.The MDS-JE330 even has some excellent little features which made it ideal for my live use when going solo. The Auto Pause function means that I don't have to run back to the unit after the end of a song, to make sure it doesn't leap into the next unexpectedly.
With a particularly comprehensive remote control, MOST features are readily accesible with the push of a button. There are however a few options which are quite useful, but you have to first enter the menu on the unit itself. At first look, this is a daunting adventure, but it is straight forward once you work out the means for using the menu system itself. The instruction manual could possibly have been a little more informative, but I don't think I've ever found a perfect instruction manual, so as they go, this wasn't bad.
