The build quality is the high standard you would expect from Sony - all the buttons, switches and connectors feel well put-together and like they will stand much abuse when my fingers desperately jab at them to change the track from Mika.
I have a Sony Walkman MP3 player which connects seamlessly to the unit - once connected via USB I can search tracks, skip, randomise...all from the head ... ...phone calls via Bluetooth - fantastic call quality means safer driving - and no need for separate accessories! I can also stream music (via Bluetooth) to the unit, playing whatever's on my phone through the car speakers! This is great if I've forgotten to take my MP3 player!
Of course it has the standard 3.5mm jack socket as well so my friend can plug in his iPod. The CD function is always a great backup if you just want to avoid Mika then go back ...

I bought this stereo out of Halfords and had them fit it into my little Ford Fiesta. It replaced an old standard radio that came with the car originally. Back to the point. This is an outstanding stereo with lots of worthwhile features. With the intention of replacing my current stereo, I wanted to buy one that had bluetooth connectivity because I had been pulled over before for using the phone whilst at the wheel. I had learned my lesson and paid ... ...second time. Not only did this stereo solve that problem by having a hands free system built in, it was also able to playback my mp3 tracks from my phone. Something I didn't know it could do until the sales person told me so. Not only that, it also has a front auxiliary to attach your Ipod allowing playback of your music through the car's speakers. And if you don't have an Ipod you can save music onto a USB drive and stick it into the USB port and ...

Quick review of Sony MEX-BT3600U
fitted in under 10 minutes, synced with both iphone and bluetooth adapter to stream music via headphone jack first time and connects automatically a quickly each time i get in my car, audio quality is brilliant for the price you pay, CD playbeck is good, scrolling bar with album, artist, song info is easy and quick to read while driving, phone calls are easy to receive and not bad to make, sound quality is good as the mic cleans up the levels of backround noise, usb is really easy to use literally plug and play straight from itunes music.
only drawback is that is doesnt work with my corsa steering wheel controls! ...
