I had one of these systems before updating to my seperates system. I brought a fair few midi systems in the past but not one worth writing a review about.

Im gonna be frank here, The only reason why i brought this midi system at the time i did and not one of its compeditors is purley for the amount of bass the hybrid subwoofer kicks out. As i love a lot of bass wioht my music it was like a dream come true as it was the only thing i could afford at the time. the system cost me 200 pounds at the time but it was a display model im sure it is cheaper these days though.

I wanted to have the sub woofer on the floor and the rest of the system spread over various places of my room but i was not able to do this due to how small the speaker cable is. i talked to the shop assistant the next day asking if there was any way i could replace the speaker cable and he said i would not be able to polus it would invalidate the warrenty. So i was well gutted about that. The other problem i saw with the speaker cable was how razor thin it was i never seen anything like it. But i did not let it get to me as i thought for the price they have to cut a few corners.

So i set my system up on top of my wardrobe i have a corner wardrobe so there was just about enough room you would not be able to do this with a normal wardrobe due to the size of the system.

I wore my system in for 30 hours you should do this with every new sound system as standerd as it helps the speakers wear in properly.

The power was incredible but the quality was not all that great well at loud volumes any way. The bass was very one directional and very farty btu still sounded cool with various music.

The quality was very unconsistant and i found every time i put my stero on it would take a long time to warm up before music started to sound like how it should.

I decided to hook it up to my tv so i could watch dvds and videos etc through the stero and oh my god the cinematic effect this stero gave off was that good it soon made me think really postive about my system again it was so cool it was untrue and the quality seemed to shoot through the roof as well and the bass became more punchy.

Then i decided to hook it up to my pc the quality when back down again but the stero seemed to be able to go louder and some games sounded great with it. But having the stero hooked up to pc seemed to put more strain on it so i only had it connected for a few months on and off.

The system also did really well when it came to playing cdrw and cdr it was actulyl one of the steros stronger points. Another let down though was that there was no bass treble controls there was only groove effect controls which was still good but not as good as having manual programming ability.

the speakers are 120 watts rms each which is 240 watts max and the subwoofer is also 120 watts rms which i consider very powerful where midi systems are concerned.

The system is a 3cd changer so that means you can have 3 cds in your system at once but you can still only play 1 at a time. they are 2 tape decks for people who still like using tapes but no mini disc player but i surpose you carnt have everything at this price.

I would recommend this system to anyone who would consder using it for watching movies with or anyone one who loves alot of power and bass.

I would not recommend this to anyone who needs a certain degree of quality to there music.

Thanks for reading my review i hope it has helped you in some way.
