PSP memory stick

Advantages: put films, music, pics on your PSP for a great price

This product is the 4gb memory stick which can be used in the Sony PSP console. I currently have a PSP and have changed memory sticks several times. At first I had the 32 mb version which came with the console, I then bought the 512mb version. However I have found the 512mb version to still be too small and I needed a much bigger memory stick in order to store all that I wanted on my PSP. The actual stick: The memory stick is a very small plastic card, just larger than the size of your thumb and slots into the side of the PSP. It is potentially hard to lose but you should not need to take it out of your PSP that much. It is very strong and will not break easily and of course is black to fit in with the typical PSP colour. I'll Never Max Out Again!

Advantages: Enough storage for a full day of shooting
Disadvantages: Feels and looks fragile

My 10-MP digital camera takes fine photos. It also routinely produces JPG files in excess of 5 MB. As a practical matter, this means that space on my memory card tends to disappear quickly. Because Himself and Yours Truly are newly retired and in travel mode, that's a problem. Given that most such problems these days produce solutions in short order, my solution was to purchase a memory card with a 4-GB capacity. This means that I can store about 500 photos on my card. That's a small miracle. More than that, it means I can enjoy a full day of sightseeing without reviewing, deleting, or downloading my photos. You might think that 500 photos is a lot for a single day of shooting. Not really. Photography is a my pastime and my passion. Daylong excursions to a new location or grandparental appearances at crucial soccer games ...

Advantages: Fast boot time, Good connectivity
Disadvantages: Small keyboard, horizontal scrolling, poor webcam

for a standard monitor, a SD/MMC card slot, network (RJ45 cable), phone, headphones and microphone sockets. The internal drive on this one is a solid-state 4GB hard disk which doesn't sound like much but use a 4GB/8GB flash memory stick in one of those USB sockets and you should have more than enough storage for most people. The whole case is about A5 in size and about an inch and a quarter thick so this really is compact. By far the most impressive aspect of this machine is its startup time. Approximately 20-25 seconds from a cold start. It is by far the fastest booting computer I've seen this year. The machine comes pre-installed with Xandros linux which is an obscure choice in my oppinion but it works well and although I originally planned to put Puppy linux on this machine I just haven't felt the need to yet.
