This brings me to tell you about this product which in itself is a tiny part of Sony's empire. When i say tiny i mean tiny, one needs to be careful as not to lose it. I myself have taken great care in keeping my 4 Pro Duo Memory Stick's quite safe
As i said i have 4 of these, two are 2Gb, one is a 512Mb and a 64Mb. All of them are Sony! They are invaluable to me as i have a PSP and Sony Erriccson K750i which they can interchange with as and when i please. They will fit into a great number of Sony's products with ease. One must remember that Memory Stick Pro Duo is patented by Sony.

With most Sony product's that require these MS Pro Duo's you also recieve a nice little memory stick duo adaptor to slot it into that will then fit into any MS reader. This makes for ease of use when it comes to transfering data to and from the Stick.
You maybe asking yourself by now how much can you fit on to these little gems, well the answer is an incredible amount. On the 512Mb i have over 30hrs of music and still have more room to fit pictures on! On one of the 2Gb sticks i have 150 tracks, 3 full length films and 100's of photo's at my disposal!
The only complaint that i can think of is that you do not get a little sleave to store unused sticks in as you do with other manufacturers. This of course does not deter me in the slightest, just that i thought i had best say something as i commented on this in Disadvantages (I have been informed that some people did get a sleave with theirs, and i feel slightly cheated... Oh Well!!! LOL)
What else can i say... I would certainly recommend this to anybody that requires just that little more memory.
The Price will vary depending on where you purchase and as time goes on they will enevatably drop, but i paid £16 for the 512Mb and £45 each for the 2Gb.

I purchased the Sony 512MB Memory Stick Pro Duo for my new Sony Cybershot DSC-W50. It works great! I can get over 150 pictures at 6 mega-pixels and up to 23 minutes of captured video. The price is unbeatable too! I've had a lot of memory cards in the past, but none as fast and reliable as this one. A fantastic accessory for any compatable digital camera. this product works as advertised and has increased the speed of photo-taking as well as the quality ... ...buy for use in the Sony PSP and has a capacity that can hold up to 180 5 MP digital Images, 500 Minutes of music (ATRAC3), and 230 Minutes of video (.MP4, QVGA)! Advantages: ANOTHER GREAT SONY PRODUCT! Disadvantages: SMALL - COULD GET LOST.
The shape of the memory card is rectangular. It is very small, and could get lost very easilly. It is best to have a backup of the information you store on this memory stick, just to be safe. The memory card is 512MB, which is half of one GB!! This does hold quite a lot of information. My 512MB memory card came free with my mobile phone. It works so well with my mobile, I have been using it for nearlly 6 months, and still no problems with it at all. ... ...I use this everyday. As it is used in my mobile, I use it everyday to play music, store photographs taken on my mobile, and store videos, etc. I think this is a fantastic product. There are no faults with the product. The only bad thing about this is it is very small. It has been made to be small, and sleek, to fit in electronics, but can get lost very easily. Be sure to back any important information up. Yep sony has done it again, they have brought out a storage device and put it right to the front of their market. Memory stick duos are probably one of the biggest selling Memoy devices on the market.
If your going to buy something from sony lately you'll probably be looking to invest in one of these because everything sony is using this as its memory storage. Phones, cameras and most importantly the psp which is the thing that has made the memory ... ...Psp and more devices from sony using the memory stick duos prices for this item are going down all the time. Soon they will also have an extra size available for you die hard fans of on the go entertainment, the 4gb is going to be released soon.
You can store many file types on the memory stick however not all file types are compatible with everything else however this will not reck it it just won't show up on your device check compatibility first. ...
