I've owned this camera for about four years. I bought it after reviewing other cameras in the same price bracket and although the first company I tried to buy it from told me it would be too heavy for a woman (it weighs about 1.5 lbs) I was going from a non-digital SLR that was much heavier. I have never regretted my decision to buy it. The functions are easy to understand and the convenient storage on a CD-RW makes transfer to the computer very straightforward. The macro function is excellent and taking a very close photo of flower is a piece of cake. The results are truly professional. It will take a good photo in all light conditions with or without the flash and for really dark situations it has a projected light grid that shows where the centre of the screen is. I would thoroughly recommend it.
