I havent had this camera very long, I only bought it to use on ebay. It produces pictures of a high enough quality for this use. I was suprised at how good the image quality was as im used to 35mm SLR cameras.
Its a large camera but has the advantage of being able to hold it fairly steady and also allows for a large lcd screen to view the images.
I like the fact that you can use both memory sticks and floppy discs in to store images but it has no internal hard drive like some of the modern cameras.
As i have not owned it long i havent explored the full range of features it has. I know it will capture short video clips but not tried that feature out so cant comment on it. The on screen menus are very easy use.
It powers up very quickly within a few seconds but have not used a modern digital camera so have nothing to compare it with. The capture time would be about 2-3 seconds. Saving to the floppy drive is slower than saving to the memory card but having the 2 options is very useful if you have run out of space on one or the other.
The battery seems to keep its charge when left for a few weeks without using it.
Overall i would recommend it especially for those of you looking to purchase a camera for ebay use. It is no longer manufactured so searches on ebay are your best bet. The memory sticks are still produced both by sony and several other manufacturers such as sandisc and lexar.
