I bought mine for £10 in one of those street mobile shops that unlock mobiles. I actually thought this was cheap for a Sony M2 card as you would normally find them at £15 or maybe more in electronic shops such as Comet, Pc World, Jessop's, Currys etc.
The Sony M2 card ... ...Mp3 songs.
The Sony M2 card is compatible with many Sony ericsson mobiles including Sony Ericsson K770i, Z770, Z1010, K630, etc and also the Nec C616V.

I bought a Sony 1GB M2 memory card because my Sony ericcsson K770i internal memory was just not enough. The sony M2 card is very small and comes in black only I bought mine for £10 in one of those street mobile shops that unlock mobiles. I actually thought this was cheap for a Sony M2 card as you would normally find them at £15 or maybe more in electronic shops such as Comet, Pc World, Jessop's, Currys etc. The Sony M2 card comes in a thick plastic package, which has to be opened by a scissors or knife as it's hard to open by bare hands. Inside the package there are instruction on how to use the M2 card and there are some warnings on how to avoid the M2 card from being damaged. These warning are written in a few languages, for those who might not understand English perfectly.
I mainly bought the M2 card to store pictures in my mobile phone as I already use my other mobile for music. The 1GB M2 card stores just over 1500 3Mp pictures, thousands of video clips and just over 200 Mp3 songs. The Sony M2 card is compatible with many Sony ericsson mobiles including Sony Ericsson K770i, Z770, Z1010, K630, etc and also the Nec C616V. The M2 card is very easy to insert, depending on your model, with my Sony ericsson K770i all I have to do is open the back cover and insert the M2 card in the slot until it clicks. The M2 card has an arrow on it, which tells you the side of the card that goes in first, this is rather helpful and could save time for those first time users. You do have to make sure that the M2 card clicks in otherwise your mobile may not recognise the M2 card and also it may fall out if your M2 slot is on the side of your mobile. The memory card is soo small making it difficult to find if dropped. Luck enough I haven't dropped mine yet or miss-placed it. Ejecting the M2 card from my mobile is just as easy as inserting the M2 card. All I have to do is click on the M2 card and it will eject itself from the mobile.
Although I bought the M2 card mainly for pictures, there is also times whereby I have used the memory card to store other documents such as PDF files, word documents, slideshows etc. Transferring such files onto the M2 card can be done by either using the M2 adapter or your mobile's USB cable. I actually used my mobile's USB cable. My laptop recognised the M2 card as a flash drive, all I had to do was drag and drop the documents I wanted to save onto the M2 card. Transferring the files was rather fast and didn't take long at all. The only type of file which seemed to take long to upload was the MP3 songs even though the M2 card is meant to write 15MB per second ( I guess I'm just not patient). This was possibly because the MP3 songs have more MB than word documents, pictures etc.
I would recommend the Sony 1gb M2 card to all those people who want to extend the memory of their sony ericsson mobile phone. The memory card is not hard to find, it can be purchased in many electronic shops including major supermarkets such as Tesco, Asda etc. I wouldn't worry about anything going wrong with this 1GB m2 card as it comes with a five year manufacture warranty, suggesting that if you have any technical faulty just send it off to the manufacture for repair. The M2 card is very fast in transferring files, saving you lots of time. You can't really go wrong with this M2 card, but the fear of misplacing the card or dropping it somewhere cramped is not good. The 1gb Memory card is lightweight making it difficult to hear it drop, it weighs under 5g which is almost nothing.
Note
---The Sony 1Gb M2 card comes with a five year manufacture warranty, which I think is great.
---The Sony M2 card looks almost the same as the SanDisk Micro SD card so it's best you read carefully before you buy to avoid disappointment. However, SanDisk also manufactures the M2 card so instead of seeing a Sony M2 card you might see a SanDisk M2 card, these cards are the same but different manufactures.
---The Sony M2 card can be bought in other capacities such as 2GB, 4GB, 8GB etc, but these can be expensive. If you going to be keeping lots of pictures and music on your mobile you might want to consider the big memory cards.
---If you want to get more out of the M2 card, it's best you purchase the adapter which allows you to connect the M2 card to your PC or laptop, thus making it easier to transfer files from and to the M2card.
---The sony 1GB M2 card only works with Sony ericsson mobile phones but certain models, please check if your sony mobile is compatible. Some mobiles do write outside the slot if they take the M2 card.
