Advantages: Brilliant battery life, looksa and size
Disadvantages: Probarably don't need a spare

Having previously owned a digital camera taking normal AA batteries a key priority in buying a new camera was to have a rechargable battery. This battery came with the Sony Cybershot DSC-W55 and i have been using it for about 2 months and have not found a fault with it. It came free with the Camera (Amazom £139) but it can be bought separately for around £20. The battery charges up through a charger which plugs to a normal plug socket and takes around 4hrs depending on how charged the battery is. I got this charger with the camera and you should get it with any sony camera you get. The only reason therefore to buy this battery is as a replacement but i have not found a need for one. I recently took just one battery on a 10 day holiday to Italy and found that the battery lasted all holiday, taking in excess of 200 pictures, and it ...

Sony Camcorder Battery

Advantages: It can hold a very good charge
Disadvantages: None

In the past two years I have bought 4 of these batteries. I love these batteries because Sony have made most of their camcorders compatible with this battery. This meant that when I got my new camcorder for Christmas this year I was then able to transfer my old battery for a back-up. I have bought so many of these batteries because I do a lot of sightseeing. I have also choose this battery over any other because it holds an extremely good charge. I had came across times when I was standing in front of a beautiful landmark and I had no battery charge. After that experience any holidays, or events I got to I always bring at least one spare, charged battery as well as my own. power in a small package

Advantages: more power than the np fp30, size and weight, no memory affect
Disadvantages: none really

Well there's not a lot one can really write about as a review for a rechargeable battery but here goes, this battery is oblong in shape black or grey in colour 7.4volts with a capacity of 800mAH and powers things like a camcorder which is the item i have been using this battery with for about 2 1/2 years now and it has never let me down in any way. The camcorder that i have is a DCR-TRV340E by Sony and this battery gives me at least a days worth of video use if i'm using the LCD screen on the camera if i dont use the screen then it's about 2 days worth of non continuious use out of it. With it being a sony battery it does have the ability to show how much battery life is left in mins on the screen Charging wise this can be charged on the camcorder which takes about 3 to 5 hours to fully charge.
