The first I want to say about this product is how long the battery lasts. I was playing around with this thing for a whole 2 days without the battery even going down under half. I later realised that the battery life was up to 45hours which is pretty incredible, considering it is longer than the Ipod touch.
So 4GB may not seem to much to a lot of people, but for those who don't have a HUGE music collection, but want just enough to be able to store a few hundred tracks, this mp3 player has an ideal capacity.
There is no easy sync like on Ipod but many find it easier to drag and drop songs that they want onto the mp3 rather than the problem that occurs when and Ipod can randomly start syncing with the wrong music!
This product is very thin and lightweight as well so you will hardly notice it in your pocket. It also supports the popular music formats such as MP3, WMA and AAC, as well as many video formats.
I found the mp3 very easy to use and the 2inch screen is more than enough for viewing pictures and videos. There is even an FM radio.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who doesn't want a huge storage capacity - this is just right for me and I think it is GREAT value for money at £50.00. 5 STARS.

...samsung and apple, however the sony walkman range has always offered good quality functional products so i decided to choose this player. in my opinion it is so easy to use a child could easily load songs and operate it. the menus are similar to mobile phone menus making it even easier to use. the original headphones that come with the player are poor so i would recommend buying the seinheisser cx300 II which really bring out the sound. Another benefit ... ...iplayer shows from the bbc service which doesnt run down the battery too much. the battery life however is great and i have often been able to listen to the player for roughly a couple of weeks without needing to recharge. definately a good product if you do not want to spend twice as much on an ipod nano! I would suggest upgrading to the next 8gb model if you are a more advanced user. ...

Advantages: cheap and easy to use Disadvantages: glitches on certain songs and poor quality headphones.
This MP3 is easy to use, however i have had problems with the tempo on certain songs changing when played. The headphones that come with the MP3 are less than satisfactory and had to be replaced. However it is good value for money and is a good rival for the iPod nano. It is easy to upload songs and can be done on Sonic Stage or Windows media player. The battery seems to last for a decent length of time and i found i wasnt having to constantly recharge ...
