We bought this for our 9 year old daughter last August for her birthday. She loves it.
It is small enough to go in her pocket and is, of course, pink. (However it comes in silver and blue).
I was a bit sceptical of how long the batteries would last but true to its word they lasted for ages. We travel 5 hours in the car quite regularly and she has it on for most of the journey. It is great not to have to stop and get out another CD or stop for more batteries. It has stopped the never ending CD mountain she used to take with her. They are all downloaded into this little miracle and she still has room for more.
The quality of the sound is good too. However the sound coming for her has alot to be desired!!!! But you can't have everything.
It is easy to use and easy to download from either CD or elsewhere.
I would recommend this to anyone who is thinking of buying an MP3 player for a child or an adult as it isn't expensive and you get alot for your money. We paid £50 for ours, but I think it has dropped in price since then.
