I was already a Sony fan before buying this MP3 player, I've bought other brands in the past for walkmans etc., but I've always found Sony to be the best.
When I saw this MP3 player it stood out a mile from all the others on the market at the time, and I think it still does. Although it's been around quite awhile now, it still grabs people's attention - I've had several people stop me in the street and admire it.
The sound quality is great, but it's a Sony, so you expect that, and the thing looks fantastic. Also, it charges itself up on the docking station and lasts for absolutely ages. I used to use it for University every day on the bus and it would last days and days before it needed charging again. Also, if I had forgotten to charge it and I was in a rush to leave the house, just sticking it on charge for ten minutes is often all it needs.
The only slight complaint I had was that the design (it hangs around your neck by the headphone wires which attach to a neck strap) meant that the headphones went pretty quickly, and because of the unique design on the player, the jack on them is straight, so you have to buy new headphones from a sony centre or wherever, rather than just pick up a regular pair from dixons. I found that a bit of a pain, especially as the thing is so expensive to begin with, but apart from that this is a great player and looks fabulous. I would definitely recommend.
