Advantages: Crisp clear and big picture. Disadvantages: The rear of the tv is a bit bulky.

...you lot may think that sony are the best brand on the market ? Well as tests show this maybe not the case. Sony Trinatron W/S TV's have been proven to give out a 23% radiation charge which if taken in, in quantity may be very harmfull. As much as you lot admire Sony, I think it is rubbish. The quality is about as good as the new improved concoard and well...Don'y buy Sony equipment! The effects of this devastating defect is damaging to all sonys ...

Advantages: Space saving Disadvantages: Strange to look at
I dunno about this...... I found flats to be very uncomfortable looking. I couldn't really get into it at all. I guess I prefer the big "chunky" look of a widescreen TV - much more of a "cinema" experince. I can see the advantages of a flat - space saving mainly - but somehow I don't think they will catch on. Perhaps as PC monitors yes I can see that happening, but to get your mates around to watch the footy on - I don't think so!! Anyway, they look ...
