    What is it? The PSP 3000 is the latest and highest spec Playstation Prtable (PSP) that you can currently buy. A few years ago I owned one of the older models but sold it as I wasn't really playing it enough. If I am being honest I really wanted a PS3 but I couldn't warrant paying £300 for a console I would only use occasionally so I bought this portable console for £150.     The PSP is a the next generation of handheld game consoles, A competitor of the Nintendo DS, The PSP (playstation portable) is priced around £150-200 and now Game stores are doing fantastic PSP bundles. I've brought the PSP since it came out, but i wanted to upgrade it because the PSP 3000 or Slim & Lite as some people know it, is said to be much better in providing that extra to hand-held gaming....And that is why i am writing this review, to tell you why this is much better then the Competitor and the original PSP itself. Trust me, it gives me the real bang for the buck.The hardware it possess inside is really a powerful beast that bolsters almost any kind of advanced graphics made so far.The fact of the matter is that you will feel much more excited when you exploit it for not only games, but also for other features viz. watching videos,listening to music and internet surfing.     The PSP3000 is the successor to the not-so-long-ago released PSP Slim&Lite. And while everyone was not thrilled at the changes (there is not really much compared to the previous edition), as things stand now, this is the best version of the PSP yet. There?s a few new features: # The screen is a lot more vivid and gets shows the colors better (my roommate has the old one and I have the PSP3000 - you can plainly see the differences in color rendering) # The screen is based on a newer technology that has faster refresh rates and eliminates ghosting (which was a minor nuisance on the Slim&Lite) # ... more

    I bought this product after having a quick play on my boyfriends PSP2000. This new model is fantastic, its slim, light and user friendly. This is also due to the recently updated look of playstation. Simple to understand, even for a novice to computer consoles. It is new so there are not as many accessories out there, compared to the Slim and Lite, but knowing Sony, these will be coming out on the market soon.
