Advantages Blu Ray player, good graphics, very reliable, great accessories, so many features.

Disadvantages Freezes a bit.

I've had my PS3 for about 2 years now, well, pretty much exactly 2 years, And I've played about 200 games on it, so I know lots about it. It's a very reliable system that has never overheated on me, and will rarely freeze. It has a Blu Ray player which is very useful compared to the Xbox 360, which doesn't. It can run off HDMI, AV cables and Component cables. So it's also very versatile and will go in any TV you own, even though it is better to have a 1080p/720p HD TV. It has an internet browser, a store, music player, video player, BBC iPlayer, DVD player and a lot of applications, such as Music Unlimited and Netflix. It has the most features out of all the consoles, and certainly is a great entertainment system for more than just games, at not a bad price tag of £200, the fact you get a Sony Blu Ray player inside it, makes it much better value for the money. It's actually quite slim now, it's very good looking with 2 physical buttons on the front, one for the power, one to eject the disc, which seems to work a lot better than the touch sensitive ones on the Original PS3. The accessories for it are very good, the official headset works well off the bluetooth (Even though you don't get the headset in the box) And the official controller connects from a very long distance. It has the best graphics power out of all the systems, not many games really test the PS3s performance, but when you see the exclusives etc, it's really in a class of it's own. It arguably has the best exclusives, such as Killzone, Uncharted and LittlebigPlanet. PS3 has a wide range of games, about 600 disk games, but if you go onto the Playstation Store, you get about 200 downloadable games. Which are around about £3-£20. I've downloaded lots of the store, and they download fast and are generally very good games for the money. But you can also download full games now, such as Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3 and more. It does not play PS2 games, it is not backwards compatible with them. But it will play PS1 games, both on disk and the ton that are available to download from the store. You can get all this for around £200, or currently some deals are on for £250 and you get Modern Warfare 3, FIFA 12 and more with it. It's certianly an awesome console.

Graphics capability- As I said, the graphics are potentially the best on consoles, showing that in exclusives, rather than games that are ported over from the Xbox 360, most multiplatform games don't perform as well on PS3 as they do on Xbox 360, or even PC. It's got the most powerful graphics engine, that's actually a fact, not an opinion. But not many games seem to test the ability of the PS3, and there aren't that many games that are even in 1080p HD.

Sound capability- It has so many sound options, it's insane. You get about 50 speaker options when you set up your sound on your HDMI, you can make it sound really good on a huge sound system. And it's quite a lot of fun just to play round with the sound settings, don't be stupid though, or you could damage your speakers.
