The ps2 is a great console although it is almost10 years old. It has alot of features that anyone can use with ease. On it you can watch Movies, Play games and also play online with people around the world providing that you can internet access on it. there are a wide variety of games available for it and they are also quite cheap. The playstation itself can come quite cheap with prices starting at £40 in some shops. You might also want to get some accessories for it such as the vertical stand, the eyetoy camera and the DVD remote if you want one. The only bad points about the playstation i would say are the fact that it is quite fragile and would break easily.

Advantages: Faster processing speed, Much Smaller. Disadvantages: Mine doesn't play duel-layer DVD, remanufactured models broke down 4 times. My 5th is okay.
