Cons. --------
Game loading takes time than usual and each game occupies 2-5 GB in hard disk.
Only 60 Gb has Hardware support for Backward Compatibility while others have only Software emulation (20 GB Doesnt have any).
No "Rumble enabled" joystics come in-built till July Month. But third party joystics and new PS3 joysticks are rumble enabled.
Latest PS3 80/160 GB with both PAL and NTSC support dont have card reader and lacks support for SACD AND PS/PS2 GAMES.
NO HD CABLE IS INBUILT, NO VGA/DVI OUTPUT TO CONNECT PS3 TO PC MONITOR, THOUGH THIRD PARTY CABLES ARE AVAILABLE AND WORK VERY WELL.
Only few games are available which completely exploits its hardware capability to the maximum, but still the games look perfect even when played in Standard Definition.
4GB single file size limitation and no support for External HDD which is NTFS/HFS formatted (Till Firmware version 2.50)
GPU is similar to NVIDIA 6800 with improved clock speeds and vector processing, inferior to XBOX 360's GPU but still its perfroms very good.
Only 256 MB XDR System RAM, 250 MB GDDR3 GPU RAM.
PS3 Home is not for free and is for money only and it is not as good as XBOX Live.
I own this product PS3 80 GB, bought after XBOX 360 screwed me up with its Red Ring of Death, and i must admit that PS3 is far better than XBOX 360 in terms of reliability and performance. New games are released late 2008 and First quarter of 2009.
So PS3 is THE BEST Next-gen console in comparison with all other next generation console. This is a definite product to buy for those who love gaming to take their gaming to next level.

How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
You might want to add a few more opinions or explain some of the differences between this console and other older and competing consoles. The more you can talk about your personal experience of using the product, rather than just stating its specification which could be read on other websites, the better. However it is still a fairly useful review... have a look at some other reviews on the same item and see if they give you any ideas. Photos of examples of gameplay/game screens can also help a review get higher ratings... thats all I can think to say really. Hope this helps...
