The Playstation 3 is the most comprehensive home entertainment centre available on the market.
The PS3 can be used by those who desire the ultimate gaming experience with high quality graphics extreme gaming adrenalin and sound, but on the other hand a blue ray disk player with a real internet browser which can wirelessly connect to your available internet. A diverse range of users can accommodate some use out of this system and if you do not have Blue ray just pop in a DVD and watch an up rated version of your all time movie.
In comparison to the XBOX 360 the PS3 is far more technically advanced, it allows a combination of functions for all needs and unlike the XBOX 360 online gaming is FREE... yes FREE.
In light of the games that have been released as 2009, the PS3 throws you with excellent visual and sound from games such as Call Of Duty World at War, Far Cry 2 and a classic Assassins Creed.
Also the 80GB PS3 can playback your old PS1 games so far I have been privileged to be able to replay the classic Final Fantasy 7 on a slightly and i mean ever so slightly up rated copy. Remember if the game was made for the PS2 you cannot play it on the PS3 unless you have the 60GB playback model (very rare).

(+) Plenty of storage space, for media. Good Games, Great for partys, with singstar. Very Reliable. (-) Sometimes the optical drive, breaks; but not very likely, my 60gb still working after 2 1/2 years.
