Hi the review you will be reading is for the Sony Play Station Portable (PSP).

I got this about a year ago and I play it all most all the time when I'm out and about anyway on with the review.

Features
The PSP has many great features for example the internet option which you need an access point or hot spot for.
Some of the other features include the downloaded games, video, music and pictures options which you can download from the official PSP website from your PSP or use your computer to gain access to the full PSP website which has more downloads. The full PSP website includes the original Play Station 1 games like crash bandicoot these cost money to download but you can get the trailers and demos for free.

Memory
With the PSP you have the option to insert a memory stick duo into it which you can add movies pictures to view through your PSP. For the films you can buy a UMD disk.

Fixes
The PSP itself is a lot lighter than the original and they have fixed some of the problems with the original for example the disk tray that had been known to launch the disks when you open it. The memory slot has also been moved from the top to the side and the rubber has been changed to a plastic cover which makes it easier to open.

Charging
You can either charge the PSP through a USB slot or use you the mains adaptor. If you use the USB it will take around 4 hours for the mains about 2.

Updating
You can update using a wireless hotspot or access point or in every game there is an update so if you get a brand new game it should have the newest update.

Looks
I personally bought the white PSP as I think it looks better and doesn't get as many finger marks on the plastic cover and because I think it looked better than the black one on display.

Price
I got mine for £89.99 which came with a 512MB memory stick duo and 2 games/ They generally range between £60 for the basic unit to £150 for a good memory stick and games.

I would recommend getting this for anyone who wants something from a mobile browser to an MP3 player or if you just want to play games the games does all this this is a great item.

Thanks for reading I hope it helps you decide whether to buy it.
