The PSP Slim is an amazing hand held console, without a doubt ,the best hand held on the market at the moment. It has many features including MP3 & MP4 playback, Internet capabilities, USB port, camera software (although the camera add on is not included with the psp), abilty to save, and many other functions. The PSP has a huge variety of games available, something to cater for all tastes; some of the popular titles include Tomb Raider Anniversary, The Sims Castaway, Silent Hill Origins and The Simpsons.
My advice is to not buy a PSP from a store, but to buy one online from E-Bay in order to obtain a PSP that has been uploaded with custom firmware. This will then upen up whole new gaming capabilites, enabling you to be able to download and play a variety of homebrew games by saving them to the PSP's memory stick. It will also allow you to be able to download and play several retro emulators on the PSP such as the Sega Megadrive, GameBoy and Snes to name a few.
The PSP Slim is available in a variety of colours including Piano Black, Lavender, silver and blue. Skins (decorative covers) can also be added onto the PSP, and these are usually available for a cheap price on E-Bay. These not only look decorative but can protect the PSP from scratches.
Graphics are very good for such a small device, and sound capabilities are also of high quality. There is a headphone socket that will fit most adapter types if required.
The PSP Slim can be powered off either its AC adapter, or from its battery. It has a decent battery life of around four hours game play, and does not take too long to recharge again afterwards.
All in all, a fabulous hand held, with even more available capabilities if a PSP with custom firmware is purchased. I would highly recommend this console to any gaming enthusiast.

(+) Plenty of storage space, for media. Good Games, Great for partys, with singstar. Very Reliable. (-) Sometimes the optical drive, breaks; but not very likely, my 60gb still working after 2 1/2 years.
