The CD play can record from on CD to another CD very fast i.e. 4 times faster than a normal CDR like this one. When recording there is no delay as can sometimes be experienced when using similar recording equipment, so the speed really does make a difference when recording CD's.

The CDR can take two discs which is good, even the recording side can play discs which is useful. It is best to buy a blank CD and record all your best tracks on to one CD so that you won't have to keep changing CD's so often. Another good feature about this player is that it has relay play so when on disc stops playing then the other will start, it also is able to programme tracks of your choice selection so you can listen to all your best music. The remote control is also very easy to use even though this player does have a lot of features remote is well set out and makes the experience straightforward.
Recording is easy at the touch of one button it all starts. you can then adjust the level of recorded to one that suits you as an added feature. If you don't want to record a CD from the beginning to the end there are features for this to. Recording from CD to CD does cause a slight difference in sound though, but this will only be apparent if you have heard the original CD, though the difference is doesn't effect the feeling of the music.
Overall this a good addition to any separated sound system it will cost you £180 - 200.
