Advantages: Price, sound quality, looks, ease of use & set up Disadvantages: speakers feel alittle too light for my liking but are very good none-the-less
Advantages: Cheap, fair sound quality and build, good for gaming and films on PC Disadvantages: Few flaws such as stand not standing up, problem with sub.
...for plugging in an MP3 player, or whatever, and listening to it with all 6 speakers. A rather annoying thing about the control system stand, is that it isn't too good at standing up, it is designed so that if you tap it slightly, it will fall straight over, or the wires can even pull it down! I had to put blue tack under it to keep it up!
These speaker go loud enough for what they are designed for, although only 5W X 5 + 25W sub, when connected to a computer, they go loud enough to annoy everyone else in the house.
All in all, not bad, good for games and film, has a few flaws, Sony could certainly improve it, but it wasn't a bad effort from Sony....

The audio cable supplied was around 2 meters in length which was standard supplied as speakers were designed to be placed on your desk, hence the length of cable supplied. The speakers had two inputs, which was ideal if you wanted to connect you MP3 player and your PC to them at the same time. Also on the speakers was the usual headphone jack. The on/off switch was lit up by a green LED when the system was switched on. The volume knob was smooth and didn't feel loose at all, which made it easy to adjust...
