Advantages: Price, sound quality, looks, ease of use & set up
Disadvantages: speakers feel alittle too light for my liking but are very good none-the-less

I bought these from PC world to replace an older 2.1 yamaha set. The difference is amazing; the bass is deep and the higher notes are clear & crisp. I have tried it out with music ranging from Jay-Z to Mozart so far and I have been very impressed. £33 very well spent! My only concern is the satillites feel very light and plasticy... They sound good and feel quite well made but I like a heavy speaker but I guess thats neither here nor there. Setting the speakers up were straight forward, never even opened the instructions... The volume control is easy to use. And the subwoofer is a nice and chunky. Buy these if you want a good set of music speakers that can handle films and games (there are way better ones for those obviously...) But these will make any home audiophiles who havent won the lottery very happy indeed ...

A Great System from Sony

Advantages: Nice Classy Design, Great Graphics, and a Good Online
Disadvantages: Small Gamelist Thus Far and Some Games Suffer From Framerate and Graphical Pop-Up Issues

Sony's Playstation 3 is thier third go around in the Video Game business. My console reviews usually consist of reviews in the following categories Controller, Graphics, Multiplayer/Online, and Game Library. Much like the Xbox 360, i'll also be reviewing the Design of the PS3. The design of the PS3 is the more classy of the three new consoles. The PS3 is a black square system with a curved top. While the design is beautiful, this system is very big, matching the 360 in terms of size. The system also offers Blu-ray but, in my opinion, that should not be the only reason you should be spending $400-500 on this system. The PS3's controller is the classic Playstation controller once again and that shouldn't be a problem for any gamer. The original PS3 controller was the Sixaxis but is now Dualshock 3. A good, cheap set of 5.1 surround sound speakers.

Advantages: Cheap, fair sound quality and build, good for gaming and films on PC
Disadvantages: Few flaws such as stand not standing up, problem with sub.

for plugging in an MP3 player, or whatever, and listening to it with all 6 speakers. A rather annoying thing about the control system stand, is that it isn't too good at standing up, it is designed so that if you tap it slightly, it will fall straight over, or the wires can even pull it down! I had to put blue tack under it to keep it up! These speaker go loud enough for what they are designed for, although only 5W X 5 + 25W sub, when connected to a computer, they go loud enough to annoy everyone else in the house. All in all, not bad, good for games and film, has a few flaws, Sony could certainly improve it, but it wasn't a bad effort from Sony. ...
