This is a nice pair of speakers. I just got them as a zone-2 stereo set for my yamaha rx797 amplifier. My intent was to find a decent solution in the vicinity of $200. And to my surprise, they are worth every penny. The design is slim and simple, which makes them blend in very smoothly. The performance is pretty solid - they are loud and clear, and with the right amplifier and proper speaker cables*, they do a clean nice job. I am personally impressed by the bass output.
