...I havent really had many CD players to be able to compare this too, but after having my MOS CD player this is 1000000 times better!
It never skips, plays MP3 CD's, has a great range of settings and sound variations from Jazz to XPlod (when using with preferabl XPlod speakers) and it has a great radio signal which my MOS one didnt.
It also came with a mini romote control which my passengers use more than I do!
I bought mine for £89.99 in the Argos Sale after christmas last year after having 3 of the same MOS CD players all of which broke or didnt work to start with.
These Sony CD players come with plenty of attachments form different speakers,subs and amps depending on your need for music and are so easy to hook up and fit into your car. The instructions are in English (which is always helpful) and are in good detail so if you do...

...I've gotta admit, I'm a little disappointed in this player. After reading the rave reviews the Sony has received in the audio press (especially in The Absolute Sound and The Absolute Vision), I guess my expectations were a bit inflated.
First off, there's the video. This is quite good, but no where near as stunning as the critics made it out to be. The Sony's video is a little too soft for my taste and colors are a tad muted (I expected the former but not the latter!) I think the Pioneer 47Ai (for example) easily beats the Sony in this regard, having a sharper picture with more vibrant colors and greater detail.
Next there's the audio. As promised, the Sony performs admirably with SACD (two channel only!) but with cd it's nothing special. I also own (in addition to the Pioneer above) a Philips DVD-962SA player whose sound quality...

...There is not really much to maon about when it comes to this little piece of technology!!
If you are looking to purchase a top of the range, High quality mini - disc player then you have no need to look any further - In this release from sony you have all that you will need.
Me personally, I am a gimmick fiend and the editing facility on this is phenomenal.
For the price that Sony have released this at, In my opinion it is a bargain!
A MUST HAVE TOY FOR BOYS!!
The improvement on this from the older version is not even noticeable, the recording quality seems better and the look is slightly sleaker but other than that there is not much difference!...
