This was one of the first AV amps to include a DTS processor. Not only does this amp have plenty of power but also some of the best processing systems inside. This box of chips will take ages to set up, as you fine tune the five channels to your own tastes, but you can then sit back and listen to the quality of sound that it delivers. One good thing that I found with this amp is that it does not seem to get to hot, alot of the other 5 channel av amps seem to get alarmingly hot. Sony have now come out with a revised model STRDB930 witch has made the setting up procedures a little bit easier, a friend of mine has got this newer model.
