It comes with 2 small aerials, one for AM and one for FM. These are pretty rubbish though as can be expected, so to take full advantage you should have a proper aerial installed on your roof somewhere. more
This was the top of the range tuner at the time I purchased it. It matched the looks of the rest of my system, so I thought considering that I don't particulary listen to radio much I might as well go for it.
The good thing is I don't believe I made a mistake. It still does pretty much everything I would want a tuner to do. The major drawback is that is isn't DAB enabled, so you won't be able to tune in to any of the new digital stations. But you obviously wouldn't buy this if that is what you wanted to do!
You can tune in to all the different frequency bands on this machine, and another handy little feature is that you can input the desired frequency directly using the number buttons. This saves waiting for ages while it automatically scans.
The display can be changed to show the set frquency, signal strength etc etc, as well as text information. This text is transmitted by some radio staions and includes things like station name, time and name of the song being played. I think this is quite a funky feature to see scrolling across the screen.
There is loads of available presets to store all your different favourite radio stations (i think there is space for 40 on FM mode). These are then quickly accessed using the number buttons below the display. Its also pretty simple to store the stations in the presets, unlike some tuners which are quite fiddily!

I think thats all I can say really - simple to use, it does everything you would want (unless you want to take advantage of upcoming DAB), and has a range of features.
