I bought these speakers about a year ago for 40GBP. They are a bit cheaper now, shop around online and you should be able to pick up a pair for around 30GBP (Amazon, I think).
I'm afraid I don't know much about the technical side of speakers, so I've just reproduced the details below:

But how does it all sound? Well, I use my PC for gaming, listening to music and watching DVD's. The sound quality on all these media is very clear, with a strong resonance even at low volumes. The 3D surround option allows you to quite effectively recreate the sound given by rather more expensive home entertainment systems, especially if you place the speakers far apart, which is great for watching movies.
As far as listening to music goes, you have a combined treble/bass level controller which is more than adequate for adjusting between different musical styles. The volume that these speakers can produce is very impressive; I have yet to turn up to full volume for fear of disturbing the neighbours. No distortion yet either!
In addition, there are mic and headphone ports on the front of the speakers, allowing easy access and meaning you don't have to unplug the speakers if you want to use alternative equipment.
A (slight) downside is that because the speakers have their own power supply, you not only need a spare plug socket somewhere near your PC but you also have an extra cable lingering around. A positive note on the cables is that they are very long, allowing you the freedom to arrange your speakers pretty much however you wish. The speakers are pretty heavy as well (only one of them, for some reason...), but this adds to a feeling of quality.
I would certainly recommend this product. They are a head and shoulders above speakers costing 15-20GBP, and well worth the extra tenner.
I got these speakers free with my PC as part of the package, however there not as good as my old ones.
They look quite good, small, dont take too much desk space which is a good advantage when your desktop looks like your papers have blown everywhere.
The speakers are simple to use, with one button to turn them on and off, and a volume dial which sticks out like a sore thumb.
there is also a port to plug headphones in.
I think the speakers are ... ...a little louder than talking volume, then these are not your speakers as the sound distorts, especially with bassy songs like dance and hip hop.
The speakers aren't bad and i do reccomened them, its just as i like my music slightly louder than "talking volume", then i get annoyed with the distortions.
Also they come with a long cable to plug them in and position them wherever is good for you. ...

these speakers wer bought as a present for my pc and what can i say these speakers have a high quality of sound they are easy to install simply plug in and play **warning** do not test on full volume you may blow your ears appart **warning** the bad point are simple the volume control is massive and if you dont have a big desk you may not be able to put any thing in front of these speakers 1 you may blow whatever is infront of them over 2 you cannot ... ...more good points

Ok these speakers are great well they are not just great they ooze superior sound quality compared to most of the speakers I have used in the past. They play on all PC’s through the headphone port so it will not take up any of your USB ports. They are a stylish black design and are quiet flat the whole design is appealing they curve from bottom to top and side to side.
The sound quality for a speaker of their price is good the loudness of the music is really very very loud and they don’t crackle and are very rugged and durable they can be stored on a table or on a slim shelf.
Like most Trust products they are quite cheap and can be found in Asda. However I advise people that the downside to Trust are the cheap web cams don’t get...

...I have owned theses speakers for over one year now and they have not failed me in any way. the only disadvantage of these speakers is a very faint humming siound when they are not in use, however this should not put you off the purchase as they are very reliable and have excellent sound quality. they are also acceptably priced and are ideal for any PC desktop users. they can also be used for anything with a standared 1.5mm jack port (i use them with my ipod quite often)
The Bass on these speakers is good for the size of the speakers (it certainly makes the table vibrate), other features such as the microphone and headphone ports and seperated bass and volume dials make these extremely convenient and easy to used....

...It's a great little device with plenty of features that I would highly recommend. This really is a wonderful piece of kit that should go well with many accessories because it really looks good. However, always think carefully as to whether you actually really need something before you buy it. We buy so many things nowadays that we don't really need.
