I am very pleased with this laptop. It is fast, reliable has never broken down and is just generally great to work with. The whole feel of the laptop is great, you can really feel the quality. The screen clarity is great especially with the size of this screen. The keyboard is the only let down, it feels a little bit cheap and is not the most comfortable one to use, however I dock this laptop and therefore use my own keyboard. However I would not let this put you off buying a really great laptop. Other than this, I would highly recommend this laptop. It also has other usefull features such as a memory card reader and really simple to use Sony software. I have no regrets!

The Sony Vaio a business laptop, not this one. Even thought sony would make a laptop for your home use, shur the business ones were great and good to use at home, but this one goes the other way round its great at home and good for business, though not as portable with a 17" screen so for a business i wouldn't recommend, but still good. It seems Vaio have started to make good laptops for the home as well as leading the way in business laptops.
This ... ...pretty fast and 2 GB of ram which is excelent for your mulitimedia uses. 400GB or storage! superb for storing movies and songs, and a gig or video memory again superb for movies meaning more frames per second are played and of better quality.
At £1000 you may feel it's out of budget, but it has a blu-ray player, which will cost in excess of £300 it will play your blu-ray DVD's on its 17" screen HD compatible ofcorse, and the sound on the laptop ...

The looks on this laptop are brilliant. Its just the right thickness and I love the black look. The keyboard and touchpad look good as well as does the traditional vaio logo on the top of the laptop. The huge 17 inch screen just helps make this laptop look the part. A great all round looking laptop. Functions
... ...A huge 200gb hard drive and a dual core processor make this laptop ideal for all the gamers out there and the GeForce Go 7600 graphic processing unit makes the on screen display look absolutely brilliant. This laptop also acts as a TV with a tv tuner and remote control and it also has a blu-ray player which almost no laptop currently has.
