The Sony Vaio FE31Z seems to provide a brilliant balance between power and mobility. This laptop is a must-have for anybody who needs power on the move.
With its Intel Core 2 duo processor and 2Gb RAM it can provide good power even on the toughest of applications. On most laptops this would inevitably reduce battery life significantly but not here, it isnt difficult to get well over 2 hours battery life if not closer to 3 hours with the settings turned down slightly.
Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition offers new and exciting facilities for those that have never used it before including the abiltity to view all your prized photos in slideshows, play dvds and listen to music all from one location.
One slight drawback I must point out is that this laptop has a 15.4" monitor as do many. In my personal opinion i feel this is slightly small and i much prefer to work on a 17" monitor but this is only a small drawback compared to what this laptop has to offer.
