Advantages: good and fast Disadvantages: cost
...very fast and up to date bit of kit. This gives everything that you expect from a sony, unfortunetley this includes the price as with most of there other products, sony expects you to not only to pay for the product but also for the brand name. whereas other alternatives of the exact same spec tend to be less in price. having said that it is a very good laptop that if you do like myself trust the sony brand you mind paying a little extra for your peace of mind. If however you prefer value for money or do not have a budget to get you a sony then other more affordable examples exist.
Every aspect is either good or excellent on this product another good example of sony equipment....

Advantages: FEATURES AND SOFTWARE. SCREEN STYLE Disadvantages: KEYBOARD BIT PLASTICKY
...Fantastic laptop. very high specification and well put together. I have very little to say that is negative about this. it ha 2gb ram, mine has a 160gb hard drive, and a superb graphics card. I love the bright screen and it is crystal clear. This laptop has all the features you could want, and operates at a rapid pace. the functions are easy to use and are clear and simple. the only down side i would say is the fact that the keyboard feels a little bit cheap. and the inner case a little plasticky, which f course it is. but it just feels a little less Sony like than i woul;d imagine. however i knew this when i bought it. i did my research and pound for pound it will be hard to beat on specifiation. Another usb port would be useful but thats a minor thing. comes with lots of software too and not demos. all round what you would expect from...

Advantages: Still works well, great screen, stylish Disadvantages: Battery drains fast if screen on bright
...Having had this laptop for nearly a year, I can say overall it has been reliable and easy to use. It still starts up quickly, and is able to open new programmes and react well.
It does take a bit of time once you first buy it to hone to your own style. Although it sets up fast, Sony likes to cover it with their own software, trials and pop-ups which can get annoying untul you work out how to get rid of them.
The screen is nice and bright, which was one of the reasons why I went with this laptop, although when its running off battery the screen can drain the life very fast.
Great little webcam also hidden above the screen. This is easy to use and usually appears very clear when using online.
Overall, I would recommend this laptop for potential users. It is best as an entertainment laptop due to its size, and due to the screen...
