Sony Vaio VGN-NR10

Sony Vaio N series My Sony Vaio has been with me for 3 years now and is the first major purchase I made when I got my first job. Recently due to my carelessness the powerjack has broken and so it no longer charges but otherwise it still works perfectly. I am as yet contemplating fixing it or getting a new one. The laptop isn't in the best condition but it does function (if given power) quite well. I am pretty sure that all of the N series laptops are discontinued and they are replaced by the E series. A couple of years ago, due to the fact that I was going to be travelling a lot around the country, I thought it was time to get myself another laptop as my old Sony Viao, although still working, was far too limited on processing power and hard drive space for what I wanted it for. This new laptop form the Sony viao range, is the newest in technology and takes the design and looks of laptops to the next level. This laptop is from the viao range, a range of laptops made my sony, and all of which have great design qualities and I think all of which look fantastic. Another great thing about this, is the possibility of getting the laptop in different colours. This just makes the laptop you get that little bit more personal and look better to you. This laptop feels very solid, with the screen being crystal clear and the keyboard very easy to type on. The sound quality is also very good compared to other laptops i have owned. It comes preinstalled with vista which is good looking and also makes life much easier when u learn all the new features it provides. I particuarly like the position of the SD and Memory Stick Pro card readers, although i feel it would have been much better if an XD card reader was included (possible because my camera uses an XD card); this is not particularly big problem though as i can just easily use the USB ... more
