    My Laptop is just over one years old, and I have only had to have it repaired once, through Sony and the turnaround was absolutely amazing. It took me a while to manage to get through to Sony's UK - localised repair centre, but when I did, they were really good about informing me of what I needed to do and when my laptop will be returned to me. They would arrange a courier the following morning - this was 12 hours away, which was great as there was no collection waiting lists either! The courier would bring an adequate sized package to put the laptop in. And the laptop's turnover would be a ... more

    I recently purchased the product from Comet for £400 after my previous laptop broke beyond repair. I was looking for a laptop which would suit my student lifestyle, with a long lasting battery life and lightweight so that it could be portable. The battery lasts fully charaged for around 3 hours but has different settings which alter the power plan. These can aid performance over battery life or vice versa whilst also providing a optimised setting which is a compromise of the two and is the one that i use most frequently.     I got my vaio just after starting uni two years ago after my previous laptop packed up with all the extra usage it was getting. My vaio has been excellant for the whole time so far (touch wood). I spent alot of time on it writing up lab reports and researching for essays, but will often have music/ radio playing in the background, as well as spending alot of time watching on demand programs i have missed and films online. All of which the laptop copes with easily. I find it particuarly good when watching a DVD as the screen has a good resolution and is very sharp. When compared to my ... more
