Although writing a review about notebook is not such an easy thing I was so impressed about this light notebook and by it's capabilities and so I've decided to write a well deserved review about Sony VAIO TZ11XN/B - Core 2 Duo U7500 1.06 GHz - 11.1" TFT. When I first received this product I really wanted to show it to all my friends and honestly I didn't find one who didn't liked it. They all smiled, enlightened their faces, admired him and touched him, and them asked me about this notebook price...

So light and thin and so...beautiful and is mine...my precious...:). The only minus if you can say so of this notebook is the price, if only I can call this a notebook. Obviously it is not for everyone,being ultra portable, having top connectivity,showing exceptional build quality and not to forget by providing remarkable autonomy I really recommend this notebook to businessmen, to those who really desire a top class product and to everyone who can afford it.

When I first saw it I was amazed by the construction ingeniously of the Japanese engineers, where and how they succeeded to include in such a small laptop with the dimensions 198x23x277 mm and 1.2 kg an optical DVD±RW storage who basically occupies half of the space under the keyboard?! Shouldn't be also a processor, chipset, hard disk, wired or wireless connectivity? That's why I think Sony VAIO notebooks are unique and impress every time. The second shocking element is the display quality: I have never honestly saw something so beautiful. The colors and the screen luminosity mixed with the half centimeter width of the display really shocked me and "there is an explanation !" for this three things an new technology called LED. The display has LED backlight a new technology for displays who is responsible for the display vivid and beautiful colors, full of life and for the perfect luminosity of the display.

Can be really used this tiny laptop for using Windows Vista? With all my heart i can say "YES". By having an state of the art Intel dual processor -Intel Core 2 Duo U7500 / 1.06 GHz based on the same architecture as top Intel processor , at half frequency but being 5-8 times more energy efficient and also 2GB of Ram type DDR II SDRAM - 533 MHz and 100GB hard disk drive this laptop is ready for anything you can throw at him except games. The included onboard graphic processor Intel GMA 950 is suitable only for older games and for multimedia aplications and not for hardcore gamers.

By having components that require so little energy this is the coolest laptop I've tested and also extremely silent. The laptop includes a card reader who can read:SD Memory Card, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick Duo, a VGA camera 640 x 480, an 56kb modem, Gigabit Ethernet and Wireless WLAN network connections and also Bluetooth to connect with the mobile phones.

By having only last generation components that require extremely low power consumption the laptop last quite a time on batteries. While the producer specifies Run Time (Up To): 7 hour(s) I've managed to work with the computer (internet, music, one movie) for about 5 hours and 10 minutes without using Vista tools to enhance the battery life.So the battery life can be really improved even more... Just perfect results from a laptop.
