Sony VMC 15FS Video / Audio cable

An expensive cable but well worth it.

Advantages: Great pictures and you can connect it to a number of devices.
Disadvantages: It is expensive and the cable is quite short.

The Sony male VMC 15HD Video / Audio cable is very cheap for the thing it does which is transfer images. This cable is the future of HD TV I paid £25.00 for this cable. The UK Sony website sells it at £29.00 but there are plenty of other suppliers out there. This is a great piece of kit for transferring pictures from HD DVD players to HD TVs and still leaves the pictures with a very high picture quality you on the screen with its high rate data transfer "which means it loses very little detail." Sony states Gold-plated terminals for much improved signal transmission. This cable has gold plated connectors "The connectors are the gold bits at either end of the cable that go into the two devices e.g. TV to DVD. Advantages: Allows you to upload from Sony camcorder to your PC
Disadvantages: None, it is functional if needed. Shop around for the best price.

I am definately not a techno type of person but can certainly recommend this data cable. It is a useful, functional piece of equipment which allows you to link your Sony camcorder to any kind of PC. The main thing I would say is, that if you find yourself in need of this cable then the best thing to do is to shop around. There are bargains to be had and quite big differences in the prices charged for it. Amazon is quite a good place to look, as not only do you get an Amazon price but there are other offers to be found there for new cables too. When I was looking the best deal available was £7.99 (plus shipping). Or of course you could order from Amazon when you are buying other items and then be eligible for free shipping if you spend £15.
