...I am definately not a techno type of person but can certainly recommend this data cable. It is a useful, functional piece of equipment which allows you to link your Sony camcorder to any kind of PC. The main thing I would say is, that if you find yourself in need of this cable then the best thing to do is to shop around. There are bargains to be had and quite big differences in the prices charged for it. Amazon is quite a good place to look, as not only do you get an Amazon price but there are other offers to be found there for new cables too. When I was looking the best deal available was £7.99 (plus shipping). Or of course you could order from Amazon when you are buying other items and then be eligible for free shipping if you spend £15. Advantages: Works just as the orginial cable shipped with iPod - Great Spare/Replacement
Disadvantages: Can be costly if purchased from Apple

...Apple iPod data cable is not an essential purchase as any iPod you buy comes with one with the exception of the shuffle. However should you find yours broken or wanting an extra cable this is for you. The cable is identical to the one shipped with your original ipod both in apperance and length. It comes with a locking dock connecter at one side and a USB connector on the other. The cable is designed to allow you to transfer your data to and from your PC/Mac or to charge the ipod itself . I boughtone of these as spare as they were available for $5. I now have one at work for those emergency charges - and one connected to my universal dock at home. I own generic cables for the iPod and this cable has no advantage apart from the locking connector on the dock side. This cable can cost more than generic ones.... Read review

...probably won't give as strong a sharpening effect as what will be needed. Puting those minor blemmishes aside this camera remains one of the best introductory DSLR`s I have used and I would happily shout from the rafters about it to anyone who was willing to listening. Compared to previous models the A350 is way better than the A100 and slightly better than the A200 and 300 so it was definitely worth bringing out, compared to other manufacturers in the same price range it is very competitive and has given me better images than most so I think Sony is going to be the next big thing in the world of DSLR cameras and it is certainly the one I will be recommending to people for the foreseeable future.
