Advantages: Motorised Tilt, Auto Setup Disadvantages: Poor Sound Quality
The sonyVPL-ES2 is a great projector at a bargain price. I wil admit that I think it would struggle with large presentations with only having a 1500 lumen lamp. But for home use and for small scale office presentations this projector is just what you need.
I bought this projector for watching films at home after selling my previous projector due to it being far too noisy. This projector is very different when it is on the sound from it is barely noticeable.
If you've purchased a projector before then you'll know that the most important thing is the bulb life. Because when the bulb goes they can easily cost anywhere upwards from £300-£400. It is often a more economically viable option just to replace the projector. However with this projector you have no reason to worry. The bulb life is a staggering 3000hours and in eco mode it ...

Sony have obviously prioritised correctly with this piece of kit because naturally with any projector the key is to have a high picture quality. This machine has three LCD panels fitted to improve colour accuracy and it uses high quality optics. If you?ve got a suitably-equipped DVD player the VPL is also able to display a progressive scan image which a lot of the earlier models don?t.
Setting up the unit is very straightforward, as I find with most Sony appliances the instruction manual offers detailed step-by-step instruction on wall mounting etc. so you really shouldn?t experience any difficulty even if you ...

Advantages: High Brightness, 3LCD Projection System, AIAS (Advanced Intelligent Auto Setup), Short Focal Length Disadvantages: Abit Noisy
The SonyVPLCX21 is a bright, slim, and stylish projector designed for mobile applications. A friend of mine has this and we always watch movies on it. The projector has many features which I've written about below with brief explanation of each feature:
- High Brightness of 2100 ANSI Lumens
The projector has three Sony 0.63-inch LCD panels and a latest designed 165 W lamp, it has a brightness of 2100 ANSI lumens, which provides amazing image quality even in very high ambient-light. The projector has a resolution of XGA (1024 x 768), this simply means fine display of even the smallest details.
- 3LCD Projection System
This is what the Sony projector is all about, it has a 3LCD projection system which means the projected images are bright and natural and for this to be achieved it has 3 LCD panels. It provides high light ...
