...Had this projector over 2 years i purchased it when it was new out and i am still on my original bulb (expected life 300hrs.) Very bright screen i dont have a screen just project straight on to my white wall. alot of different options and prefernces to meet most casual users needs. 1 HDMI input works great but not HD quality. Very quiet around 25db.
Not a business projector as such as it is not very protable it took around 10 minutes to set up which is fne but 10 minutes every time you move it!! Sound quailty is also very hollow but sufficent.
I would reccomend this product but not as a replacment for a tv, that goes for projectors in general. Yu can beat the screen quality of a tv but you cant beat the screen sizes of a projector (60" - 250")...

Advantages: Small and Portable Disadvantages: Noisy Fans
...I've had my CS2 for 12months now and have not had a problem with it!! The connections on the back are easily accessible, and like most of them well labeled.
The USB socket also doubles up as allowing the nipple like mouse on the remote control be a mouse on your PC!
All in all, very good. Haven't had any problems, other than the fans being a bit noisy but the you get used to it over time anyway!!
I would happily recommend it to anyone, and would buy another one if Sony still made them!!
Sony really know how to do things properly and its always worthwhile spending that bit extra on a branded piece of equipment as it pays in the long run!!...

Advantages: High Brightness, 3LCD Projection System, AIAS (Advanced Intelligent Auto Setup), Short Focal Length Disadvantages: Abit Noisy
...The SonyVPL CX21 is a bright, slim, and stylish projector designed for mobile applications. A friend of mine has this and we always watch movies on it. The projector has many features which I've written about below with brief explanation of each feature:
- High Brightness of 2100 ANSI Lumens
The projector has three Sony 0.63-inch LCD panels and a latest designed 165 W lamp, it has a brightness of 2100 ANSI lumens, which provides amazing image quality even in very high ambient-light. The projector has a resolution of XGA (1024 x 768), this simply means fine display of even the smallest details.
- 3LCD Projection System
This is what the Sony projector is all about, it has a 3LCD projection system which means the projected images are bright and natural and for this to be achieved it has 3 LCD panels. It provides high light transmission...
