    WELL WELL WELL, Sony have did it again, something there really good at. Creating something so desirable, so beautifull, so well built and so gadgety, yep that why its a Sony. If this paticular machine was a car it would be a porsche! Asthetics (yes thats looks) it is created in a very light gray/silver shell trimed with a discreet chrome "viao" label on the reverse of the screen. VAIO stands for Video & Audio Integrated Operations. which i will explain why latter. Like all Sony laptops they are very lightweight and very slim machines.     Advantages Advantages A reasonably priced mid range laptop with a respectable name

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Hard drive size will not be sufficient for the more demanding user

    I purchaced my Sony laptop just over a year ago, and has it served me well! With previous laptops I have had problems with noisy fans and over heating.....with this I have had none of those problems. This laptop is about mid range however it is possibly one of the thinnest laptops on the market, making it easy to use wherever you are. Even a year on this laptop is still a good specification and the 80gb hard drive isnt paticularly a set back as it will be plenty for most peoples needs. I did have to send the laptop off to be repaired soon after I got it because of a faulty headphone socket ... more

    After searching through hundreds of laptops I decided on this Sony VAIO laptop. It was about £50 more expensive than other laptops with similar spec, but I do not regret spending that little bit extra. It has turned out to be money well spent. It looks good, is very slim and lightweight so is easy to carry around. It has a Celeron processor, which while is not a fast as Pentium it is cheaper, but to be honest, I haven't noticed that much of a difference.     Disadvantages Disadvantages Er...the battery only lasts just over 3 hours, and the music doesnt play that loud

    I bought this laptop online for £920, £80 cheaper than in the store, I also got a free 'Vodafone 3g card" with it- worth about £100 I think, on top of that I bought it through a website where you get points and got about £20 worth of points. This laptop has been brilliant from the start I've had it 4 months and there has been no problems. All the software that came with it is particuarly useful, it includes a lot of abode software (an Abode companion pack actually). It is super fast - well compared to my desktop computer anyway.
