I knew i wanted a sony laptop but i only had a grand to spend, but to my amazement i found a perfect laptop for around £1000.
The sony vaio FX805 has a extended 15" monitor whichw ill cost you more but is great for watching films and viewing photos on with sonys excellent array of inbuilt software and hardware.
With a 1.4 ghz processor it may seem to be alow but it infact very very fast.
It has 256kb of memory which can be upgraded to 512 for extended power. It comes with a standard 30 gig harddrive.
The laptop uses a ATI graphics card which isnt the best but for a business laptop it is fine.
The laptop is very very good looking which i believe is very important for a laptop. It is very fast and pefect for any business.
