This machine pack a whole load of goodies. The screen size and resolution must be its best asset boasting a 1600 x 1200 resolution. In fact, the screen res and clarity is so good that I usually have two or more pages showing in MS Word when editing and can still easily read the text.
The processor copes with anything you throw at it. Ideal for graphics work and s/w development environments. The memory stick port comes in very handy of you have a Sony digital camera and as an optional external backup device.
Comes with XP Home which can prove problematic if running apps which require Pro such as .NET.
Comes with pleanty of ports which includes 3 x USB, 1 x 4 pin firewire, built in network card and 56k modem, a/v out, SVGA out, parrallel, audio in/out.
Good buy for the money and ideal as a desktop replacement. Also comes with a handy scroll wheel in the centre of the unit at the front which is great for scanning through documents.
