I bought this laptop because i liked the size and portability of it as it only weighs 1.4kg which is a lot lighter than almost everything on the market. I use my laptop a lot so portability was the most important thing for me ahead of performance or anything like that. After working in the IT industry for many years and using countless laptops it was like a breath of fresh air using the sony T2XP. With its small compact size contributing to the purchase of the laptop i was amazed with all the other aspects of the unit. The battery life is amazing with around 4 hours use out of a full charge. It weighs nothing i could hardly tell i had it in my case, unlike many older laptops. WIreless, Bluetooth etc etc all came in handy to with, making it very easy to connect to the local WiFi Spot. Having used a Sony C1MHP mini-notebook professionally for over 2 years I was intrigued to see the new T2 range which promised better processor speeds and inbuilt capacity than the TR models that followed mine. I visited a large Sony outlet with a view to purchasing a new TR2 and (fortunately) took my CI with me for comparison.
