    I never used to like the idea of laptops instead of desktops a few years back, but the modern Sony Vaio did, admittedly, switch my opinion. It's my first personal laptop and it is a useful PC. The screen itself is 16.4" and has a 1080p, LCD display. This means any games, DVDS or HD DVDs (not Blu Rays sadly) can be seen in full High Def, and the picture quality really is as good as small Sony televisions. The laptop itself is fairly lightweight, and despite this does seem fairly sturdy; not too sturdy however, slight knocks can shut down the entire system unexplicably but the laptop always ... more
