The Sony card looks very impressive when you get, as it has a shimerry surface on it when caught in the light.
The card has a good rate of APR to start with, but as with most, it increases to the high levels of cards like Barclaycard within 6 months.

The card is run by Bank of Scotland and is fairly new to the market. They offer high limits because they want your transfer balances from your other cards. But be careful as the transfer balance increases in six months like the normal buys you make on your card.
You can apply online and recive the decision within a couple of days.
So no paper forms to fill in, except the one you sign to say youl have the card.

The main advantage of having this card is that you collect Pulse points. This gives you points to put towards Sony products, from as low as Sony CD's to their TV's and Play Station 2 products. This is done by spending £1 on your card, gives you 1 pulse point. If you buy a Sony product, you get 3 Pulse points to every pound, but you do have to send a claim from to in to do this.

You get all your useful benefits, like 54 days interest free credit, telephone customer service and the ability to check your balance online by flling out some forms and also over the phone.

The card is a good card to have in your wallet, although not the lowest APR available around, it has one of the best reward schemes around and no annual fee unlike cards like Barclaycard if your not a student.
