Sony SCD-1 SACD CD player
Review of Sony CDP XB 920 by  DJ_FUSION

Advantages: Pure Quality
Disadvantages: Not many!

...The audio/video enthusiast of the millennium is faced with an interesting future. New formats developed for the customer's pleasure (and, hopefully, the advancement of the science) are coming to the market place thick and fast, so much so, that the average audiophile may be daunted rather than enthused. The Sony and Philips Corporations are the main players in these format initiatives. Sony lost an early format war with their Beta video system to JVC's inferior VHS system, but gained huge support through the introduction (with Philips) of the Compact Disc. This CD revolution was marketed with such words as the infamous "Perfect Sound Forever". Many audiophiles, excited by this new medium, fell prey to the marketing department, dove in with both feet (me included), and dumped their Duals and Regas as fast as they could say "warped vinyl... Introducing the Sony NW-HD1, the first worthy enough to challenge the mighty Ipod with its sleek titanium body and it's astounding features it'll blow you away. FEATURES Dimension - 8.9 x 1.4 x 6.2cm Net Weight 110g 30hr Battery Life 20gb Hard Drive 13,000 song storage Songs in ATRAC3plus" Format at 48kbps Link to Sony 'CONNECT' (Online music store) 7 Line green backlit display USB 2.0 Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery G-Sensor" Shock Protection Provides Impact Protection LOOK AND FEEL One of Ipods main features was its looks and the first to start the white fashion, or as we now call Ipod white. MY SONY WIRELESS HEADPHONES. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS
Review of Sony Mdrrf 815K by  donovan74

Advantages: WIRELESS. SONY. LIGHTWEIGHT
Disadvantages: MIGHT MAKE YOU DEAF

...LOOKING FOR SOME HEADPHONES Two years ago I was looking around for some decent headphones to replace my old Technics (which went beyond sellotape repair). At the time I had no interest in wireless headphones as I thought it would not deliever the same bass response or clarity as the conventional corded plug-in headphones. So after browsing up and down the High Street I came across two types of wireless headphones (Philips and Sony) in Dixons and decided to try them both out. The Philips unit was good for the sound but a bit clumsy whilst wearing it on my head (looked like a cyberman from Dr Who) which left me with the Sony MDRRF 815K. The first thing I noticed about the Sony headphones was that it was a lot more compact and lightweight compared with the bulky Philips and also upon listening to the headphones whilst in Dixons...
