...that will last you could do a lot worse. Although the price might seem expensive at around 59.99GBP you are paying for the quality. The weight of this system is only (1.3 ounces). The other thing I love about this Walk man that I have had problems with other Walk-man's before is that it is secure. It doesn't come out of your ears a lot like other Walk-man's tend to do. For active sports this is ideal because you don't need to worry about it falling out whilst working out. Even with the most active pursuits this Walk-man has not failed me. I have used this system for walking, jogging and cycling and found it stayed in place during each of these sports. ...This sony walkman really appealed to me. I just wanted something that would store a reasonably amount of music.6gb was just the right amount for me. The design was different than any Mp3 player I had seen before, and I liked the silver one especially as is could be used as a substitute for a mirror. The only let down to this product is the software(CONNECT) ver1.0 that you have to use to load the songs on. It is very difficult to use and just a nuisance if you want to put songs on. To avoid having to keep using the software often I just put on all the songs on it could take and then just changed the songs round not too often, just when I had become bored of the others. I would also suggest that if you do get one then you keep it in some kind of protective cover. As I think if mine was not in one it would be very scratched by... Read review

...I have owned this walkman model since Jan08 and think it is fantastic. I find it hard to believe that ipod out-sell sony to such an extent when sony are delivering such good walkmans. To begin with, the sony walkmans have a far superior sound capability. With such features as DSEE sound enhancement, "clear stereo," VTP surround and the dynamic normaliser available to enhance the all round quality of the tracks you listen to, ipod cannot compare. Also, the screen on the walkman has a crystal clear resolution. I would go as far to say that combined with the sound quality, I could become absorbed in a movie whilst watching it on the walkman - provided there were no glaring distractions!
