Advantages great volume, adjustable bass, clip and go,

Disadvantages none

Sony NWD B105=
I do have my old faithful MP3 player a 256mb, which at the time was top of the range, which still works, but I wanted something a bit more update and a larger memory. I choose this Sony Model, as I really wanted a clip facility on my MP3 player, and I find that Sony and have always found that Sony has a strong reputation in the electronics market.

=The Technical=
• Product – Flash based digital player with voice recorder function
• Size – height 2.3cm, width 9cm, depth 1.5cm
• Weight – 28cm
• Memory – 2GB
• Colour – Black, although there were other colours available – red and blue
• Sound – Stereo output, - bass boost to audio with 5 band equaliser
• USB memory
• Zap feature - can whip through the song selection
• Quick charge facility /long charge
• Running time – up to 18 hours
• Detachable clip

=How easy is it to charge=
I found this model really easy to charge I had to slip the cap off the USB and pop into an usb socket, which as I’m always on the computer, it’s not a problem for me. Whilst the MP3 player is charging, there is a blue light that flashes intermittently, once charged the light goes out.
There are two options to charge the MP3 player, you can give it a quick blast, and a 3 minute charge will give you 70 minutes of playing time or a full charge of 70 minutes gives you up to 18 hours of music

=Upload the music=
This was another simple task, I am not the most technical person going, but just uploaded the Cds onto the laptop, and popped the device on, it registered and then I just dragged across, it took about 10 minutes to load 10 albums on.
=Using the MP3 Player=
The clip is detachable, but clips on very easy, and once clipped onto any clothes or bag strap, it stays in place, even stretching, moving, the mp3 player stayed on perfectly.

=The Ear-phones=
The ear phones supplied were ok, they were in the ear style, and were black to match the mp3 player, there perfectly serviceable.
=Volume Control=
The volume control is on a little button on the top of the mp3 player, I found this easy to use, even if the mp3 has been clipped on, I don’t need to unclip the MP3 player, and so it’s all very handy.
=How to choose the music=
The machine has the option of playing through the tracks as you have them, or you can use the “Sony Zappit facility” which plays a snippet of the chorus of each of the song, or just let it stop where it whets to and you get a surprise.

=The Blue LCD Display=
There is a chaser style light, that goes around when the mp3 player is in use.
=Plus Point – The Hold Button=
I find this a really useful addition on the mp3 player, as the hold button avoids any other buttons being pushed at the wrong time, I also use it when I have the MP3 player, is switched off, as like most women’s handbags, I carry everything but the kitchen sink, so it saves wasting the battery. Although I will admit the first couple of times I kept thinking the MP3 player wasn’t working, but I needed to unlock the hold button.

* The blue LCD display is pretty good - there's a kind of chaser-light which whizzes around the circular part at the front of the walkman, so that you can see when it is busy.
