Advantages: ease of use Disadvantages: easy to turn on once off.
...I personally have the 8GB pink version of this and i have to say i love it!! over 1000 tracks stored on it as well as lots of pictures and in general it is so easy to use, drag and drop, never had a problem!!
My old sony player was only 2GB and i needed something more so i went for value for money and managed to get this one at 8GB for only £99.99 so i thought it was a bargain and decided to buy it. Having just cashed out £100 on a media player i was incredibly critical and decided if i didnt think it was worth the amount then i would go for an ipod or something else but i managed to navigate it without having to even read a manual and it has a good battery life as well. The sound quality is great and the video quality/picture quality was immense I was so pleased with it :)...

Advantages: cheap, better sound, lasts longer Disadvantages: Nothing except its not free :(
...I do not own this product yet, but my mate and i listen to his one. He purchased it to replace his Ipod, even though he was an ipod fanboy, i managed to convert him to sony, and he hasnt looked back since, for the following reasons:
Ipods do not have sound quality that can match any sony player
This thing is soo small and cheap
Battery life is excellent (my friend keeps telling me)
Ipod batteries can be ok at first but they arnt consistent and the battery gets worse and worse the longer you have it.
I personally prefer this over my nano (2nd gen) ipod when takin price and value into consideration, i just dont get why you would buy any 2gb player from ipod. This is easier to add music to. sound quality GR8
Did i mention the sound quality?...

Advantages: Great sound quality and video playback with adequete compatibility. Disadvantages: Timevault shuffle mode is unnescecary as is picture playback.
...I recently purchased this mp3 player from dixons and I was amazed by how good it is. The interface is unclutered and very easy to navigate. It has the equivalent screen of an ipod nano.(320X240 2.2in) The video playback is a stunning 30 f.p.s. and is easy to watch(MP4 supported). However as with most players it struggles for brightness in direct sunlight. The picture display function is adequate but I don't bother with it, its easier to use a phone for that. The most important feature however is music, the quality is excellent at the standard 128kbps mp3. It has a wider range of compatibility than the ipod range including wma, mp3, AAC, and WMP. The supplied headphones, while looking alittle weird provide superb sound and comfort. The bonus of these is you don't have to rush out and buy another pair (adding cost to what seemed like...

I got this as a Christmas present from my wife and even she is regretting the purchase now. I feel that she was totally ripped off and seduced by the superficial packaging of a product - that completely lacks substance. Where do I start? The Sony... more
